nah one was .222 with heavier projectile and the other was a whackamole loaded in .270 neither had been checked after loading...just being lazy..my fault entirely and lesson learned.
twice in last 6 months Ive cursed a short freebore when ejecting a round and leaving projectile in rifling...effectively ending procedings unto could get home to remove it... luckily both times I was...
if 7mm08 is shorter you could use pilot from one to keep case centred nicely and use said same cordless drill with lee cutter ..just stop and remeasure till its right then champher inside and out...

only if there is still enough meat left on outside of chamber area to rethread it to fit back into action......
freebore isnt a bad thing..will/should HELP to keep pressures down (like a weatherby) it might be more a case of what projectiles you can actually get.
what happens if you try 280 brass??? or 270????
