Hi Viz made a three dot set of sights that mounted on dovetails/ replaced front bead. these work great, and as very lightweight no issues with mounting strength.

No permit required. Recently had one arrive and asked the arms office prior who confirmed no paperwork needed.

Yup, had one about 8 months now. Mostly used to track exercise etc rather than for navigation, but it will work as such. Also use on the bike, skiing etc.
