Yeah the 140eldms are doing 2770~ so sure I can get some reasonable speed out of whatever bush load I make up.

Yeah I ran the 165s in my 308 257weatherby and it killed real hard on tahr, chamois, fallow and goats. But heard so much great stuff about the pro hunters so it is hard to make my mind up.

Haha owned a 270. Put a box through it and sold it. For that amount of noise and kick I was personally not impressed.

Unsure how important this is but will be chasing mostly sika and fallow with the odd red thrown in. Heard the pro-hunters go well on sika sized animals but how do they go on reds? Down to 1 rifle so...
