Sort of. I got an insurance payout as could show scope lost in NZ. Aussie shipper hasn't come to the party so lost about $6-700. Put payout into S&B and ultrashort.

Yep. They have suggested replaced with a demo as easier for their accounts people. I have said no a demo has less resale value for me and the scope was as new as the day they sent it so should be...
UPDATE. The scope is delivered to Queensland Gun Exchange....who have sent me proof of life :)
So...no problem sending as theodolite. NZ Post completely confused matters when I got a second call...
The policy is misinterpreted by DHL. A scope is not an integral firearm part.

Now NZ Post has lost the scope they were returning to the post shop where it was sent.
The gunstore in Oz got it sorted for me via Toll, really doing everything they can which is great.
