Got a Lee collet neck size die...gotta say Lee stuff is well made, had a few things from them now....

Then look to shift to neck sizing.

Action closed...albeit stiffly...on the no go gauge but not on the field no go. So safe to shoot but at the edge... going to run reamer in chamber to see if burr comes off.

Dropped of to the gunsmith for a good polish...thinks swarf may have got caught when barrel was cut (or something like that) and happened at production. Is contacting agent.

Yep, although I wonder if bit more than a polish as it is a groove...looked through bore scope and could see it.

LOL yeah got some of those. Possibly brass was left to get too long...and putting a crimp in it. Makes sense.

New case run thru FL die 6x on right. I know the die isn't having to work the brass as much but sized fired brass show 2 thou bump so not squashing it.

Yes I anneal. Going to fire a factory case...check then vivid neck/shoulder and FL size to see what the die is doing. Will run die in sonic cleaner and give good clean. Will try later in the week and...

Only ever FL size...but is either die or chamber...easy to find out later this week.

Sorry. Sized I meant trimmed. FL sizing. Norma brass. Perhaps reloaded 6-7 times. Cases chamber ok. Group I shot this morning in 308 thread had them as does brass ready to shoot. It is quite a cut...

Noticed in my 308 cases. Had a few reloads from them and sized once but getting a bit long now and was going to trim back.

Will have to bin them as looks like it will separate? First time I've had...
