honestly any " shop" selling alarms will sell you crap that either wont go off/ be easy to get passed/ goes off so many times the neighbours ignore it.
you will never stop " smash and grab"...

as Cigar said you can in a decent system do 24 hour (smoke alarm etc) do night zone (external buildings or places you dont go at night eg: garage
i have installed 100's of them so feel free to ask...

get a decent brand home alarm instead. its just one more zone to add if you havent got a PIR installed in the same room.
