I really don't know. The maker has written an article about how the shock travels in front of the unexpanded shank and creates the damage.

The blood shock is no worse than some other bullets...

Another one with the 124 6.5 Hammer last night. A good solid buck with a spindly head.

This at 60 yards. At that range the petals still expanded and broke off and the shank made a hell of a hole....

I get them straight from Hammer in the States. It’s no problem.

And yes they are solid copper mono bullet.

You can see the shank exit and 3 petal exits above it. The petals fly off and the shank always seems to exit.
