Yeah. The 6.5 out of any case can be a slow killer when the ranges get out there. Around 400 yards starts to pull my 6.5x55 up with 140's and I haven't found my 6.5 PRC at 100 fps quicker...

With my 20" 2875 fps with most powders and 140 grn seems the upper comfortable limit.
If you want comfortable extra speed drop a bullet weight. I'm 3140 fps with a 124 Hammer. N565 powder.
