Been impressed with the Kahtoola set, running down gravel road with ice on top and a few inches of snow and no sign of them falling off. Plenty of grip for going to and from the car at skifield....
ROKTOY they are a lot cheaper than I paid for mine! Same idea though, stretchy rubber to go over the toe of your boot and chains over your sole like mini car ice breaker chains
Get a set of Kahtoola microspikes really like mine. Useful for when you hit a bit of snow and ice going over a saddle as well
