Thanks johnd that's actually not a bad idea, after this I thought I might store them in the safe due to having a heat bar in there which seems to save the rifles too so I'm hoping that'll do the same...

Certainly don't plan on stopping, that's why I was hoping to find something I could spray on and not have to clean off before re-using.
