Thanks everyone, all the answers seem pretty positive. And rest assured, if it suddenly starts hating the Winnies, I'll chuck them up in the trading post...

Hi all. I'm thinking of chopping my CZ455 down to around 14" to make it handier with subs and my DPT suppressor on it. I know a few of you have done this or something similar and reported good...
Great info, cheers. I'll look for a turbo version, I reckon. Fabbing up a cage, or even better, some removable supports for a soft top wouldn't be a problem. I looked at the Rocky, but I currently...
Hey Gimp, nice write-up, thanks for doing it. I'm looking for a new vehicle, & was hoping to get something that could be used for daily driving, farm driving, basic off-roading, spotlighting, etc. I...
You'll be even happier when you see the quality of it, I reckon... :)
^What MassiveAttack said. That's one of the reasons I first went looking for mounts from non-US websites.
I had one of these on my M-305, & I can say they are absolutely top quality. Really nicely finished, & totally in-spec, with good tolerances. They are made in Canada, and actually designed primarily...
Good to know, thanks Quentin.
Well, my 2X arrived already this morning. Fast work from Maxtoch, I must say. First impressions: Big, light, & bright. Quite a yellowish tinge, which I assume is to provide good contrast?
Also, I...
I see that Amanda has applied the initial offer discount. Grabbed a torch & a pressure switch tailcap. Cheers Mudgripz for keeping us up to date!
Thanks, might wait a bit for the offer before grabbing one then... :)
Just looking on Aliexpress, is this the latest new model, or the previous one that's being replaced?

It's just a small business with one guy making them, so no local resellers. I ordered 2 of them straight from the US a few years ago & shipping was pretty cheap, seeing as they're small & light.
It's an RS-1 sling from Riflecraft in the US, makes it real quick to get sling support in pretty much any position, seeing as the sling is always held open at the loop.
Thought I might post a photo of mine before I sold it, seeing as it's got the scout rail on the front too, in case anyone was curious... I really needed some lower scope rings... :)

No, I haven't gotten out there yet. Thankfully, I've been able to use a bit of land up near Te Hana for sighting in & practice, so I haven't needed a formal range so far. Seems like it might be worth...
You should just be able to get them to ship it directly, Canada doesn't have the same export restrictions as the US. But I'd be interested to know if Youshop is cheaper, so keep us posted... :)
Thanks guys, seems like a nice friendly bunch here!
No worries, you should check out some of their other stuff for the M-305 too, including the blackfeather stock, fair makes me dribble... :)
This was the price in Canada Bucks when I ordered it in...
Totally understand. I did about 3 weeks worth of research all over the internet (including the parts your mother warned you about), & most of the cheaper mounts had horror stories about destroyed...
Neither will probably keep zero for very long due to the basic design, but I can personally recommend the CASM mount from m14.ca. I had one on my M-305 & it was awesome, nice & low to the breech, &...
Hi guys & gals, I'm new here, but have been shooting for a little while. I live on the Shore, but have some land up near Wellsford I can shoot on, & a few friends south of Auckland who let me take...
