    Don't fire the the rifle with the missing screw,...

    Don't fire the the rifle with the missing screw, it would put pressure on the remaining ones and the .308 recoil would not be good for them.

    I just checked my m77 with the same action and...

    I just checked my m77 with the same action and kimjon and vc were right, a screw is missing. Hopefully reloaders can get you the right part and not screw you.
