Yeh I thought 1808 is a bit old, but it has HC8 then 1808 stamped into it as well a serial number PB3247. I know nothing about these old rifles so just going by what is stamped on it. I wish I could...

Hi guys, I have inherited my grandfathers 1880 snider rifle and his 1808 303 long tom. I would like to learn a bit about them and their potential history.
