Takes the same amount of time and motivation to use a 60m as it does a shorter one so I use the max lenght I am allowed. Still there is nothing to stop you standing still in the dark with a person on...
Some times it is just unattended nets which are banned (worth checking). I am not actually setting it and always have hold of it. Yes you will have a higher sucess rate after dark.

All caught using mullet which I catch in the Waikato river. I normally salt it then freeze it to prolong shelf life. The salting is more to toughen the baits, not for its increased keeping abilities....
Yes but tend to give a lot of it away to friends , family and old people I know. I don't freeze fish and after a couple of feeds then what?. Better to give it away to be enjoyed fresh.
