That's the safety catch engagement.
The choppers have also been back a 2nd time too. The weeks before last I think it was.
So anyone here get a block?
Can we send primers in the post?? Or is that frowned apon now days?
Ops wrong section, how do I delete?
What ammo are you using? The old longtoms were sighted in with the older 215gr pills, not the mk7 174gr military ammo, my long lees shoot quite high with 1950s mk7 174 ammo.
Haha I farking hope not!
Has anyone here thats actually going had any prices cheaper than 2.5k for drop off/pickup??
With the prices I've been getting back from some of the operators it seems that if only one company had...
Well if you do work out how to get a .22 to mag feed let me know!. I have a couple of SMLE no2 nz converted .22 trainers that I'd love to be able to have a mag for instead of single shot.
Great video, looking forward to part two!
I used to go and shoot there a bit about 15 years ago or more, pretty sure it's well and truly closed now days.
Haha it looked like he was enjoying hisself so we just let him be. Might have to look for him again soon tho!
I quite often use the scope or binos to get a photo.

Here's one i enjoy getting out and shooting some critters with now and again, my 1941 no4 sniper rifle. its not the oldest I have but its by far the heaviest, 11.6 lbs!! Ya feel that after a 1000m...
Yeah nice one, since that post I have had a 21" barrel fitted, spits out 162s not to bad and managed to stretch the barrel on a recent hunt too, just under 900m bull tahr and 716m stag, the .284...
I'm sure that wind was just blowing those bullets into that one spot.....
Cool builds! I made one at the start of the week too! Found a suitable barreled action and a sporter lower wood, made it to suit a no4 topwood and a peep on the charger bridge.

Haha yep, ya couldnt get any handier, and we let them go!!
with 50s cac fmj i can get around 1.5 moa and sometimes 1moa on a good day. It ain't no target rifle. Total rifle weight would be around 11lb, but feels like 20lb at the end of a long day on the hill!
My no4 T just loves the 50s cac ammo, The 50s stuff is not old enough to be collectable but old enough that ya may as well shoot it off if its still clean.
shoots minute of tahr anyhow...

The stags are going off, so I thought I'd get amongst the action and use the no4T sniper again, head shot a pig at 80m and got this roaring 12 nice and close too, at the rate I'm going I might have...
Haha no harm in trying I guess, but sorry the spotter will never be for sale as long as I have the rifle and the rest of the setup, the correct scout reg telescopes are thin on the ground here!
Genuine one, a early Maltby, also NZ marked too.
