Need more power to get out of the water in lakes too don't forget. Motor makes less power above sea level and fresh water is way less buoyant than salt.

My 2 cents is you want 115-150 horse on a 6m+. A 90 will do it most of the time but with a bit of gear and guys on board and some adverse weather it will really struggle and it will suck tanks dry at...
