They love turbos tho, the factory ones are a bit anemic but there is plenty around making ridiculous power and staying together(the engine at least)

Not so common they also come out with a rear electric diff lock making them almost as good as a under powered under optioned landcruiser of the same era

Lots of safaris have a second"hand brake" the majority of there owners don't know what it actually is and wonder why there truck rolled down the hill lol.
Its a rear sway bar disconnect and helps...

Got the second hand break?;) the most redeeming feature of a safari.
