Sorry, doughnuts?
An update on the RWS Brass. Never got an answer from RWS but did from Lee. Basically to the effect that European brass can differ and not fit Lee's designated shell holder, but just go to next...
Make that Shootingstuff, they were bought on Gunstuff...
Found that a Lee #9, which is otherwise listed only for .41 Mag, does the job. To be sure I lubed the brass carefully! Have a query in to Gunstuff in the meantime. Will see what they say.
Yes I'm using a long drop tube that came in a cased set of funnels. The RL19 would be the largest sticks of powder I've come across. Probably a key contributor to its slow burn. But it will easily...
@Southerman, thks for all that data mate, will take me a few minutes to digest it all lol
That's interesting..I was reloading a mix of headstamps yesterday, Sako, Winchester and R.P.. the Sako were almost filling to the brim when the others had a good 4-5mm of space above the powder. I...

RugerM77 thats excellent info thks. I have ordered some W760 from Belmont which I should get next week. Good price their powders too...I'm already having lots of fun and am really looking forward to...

More progress: I get to spend some time at the range next week so spending some time now making up test loads for a couple of my current projects. With the 7X57mm I've got a good ladder to shoot with...
Well how interesting...picked up some mag primers today, Winchester and Federal as that was all that was in stock at 2 places. Planning to ladder test the winnies side by side same charge with Fed...
And just to clarify, you preferred magnum primers with all those powders not just the w760?
Awesome info. Respect that these were where you finished up for your rifle. Will work up to them in mine.
There have been some very useful input and insights in the responses here. Thanks team!...
Ok so not clear what you are suggesting re seating depth..seatess for longer COL? Or seat deeper?
Don't have 760 but the RL 19 is a slower powder so might head to that. Cheers
Hi people. per some other posts I picked up an Interarms Mark X in 7x57mm early Dec, a new calibre for me. Rifle is in what seems to me to be a fairly basic plastic stock at the mo. I had 2" chopped...
