Ben has plenty of videos on YouTube also so you could see what to expect...
I have the original style, personally find it a bit tight in the shoulders but sounds like that may have changed.
Around the third firing, no annealing as of yet.
Interesting to see some suggestion to size to 2.1230" to avoid working the brass, when this is quite a big change compared to post firing at 2.1200"....
Thanks for all the helpful replies.
I guess my main confusion is around what to size to. Seems pointless to bump the shoulder back further when its still chambering at the fired length.
Brass is...
Just after some advice for shoulder bumping brass.
I'm shooting 7mm Rem Mag, which after firing measures around 2.1200" with a headspace comparator.
I also tried some various lengths of brass...
I'm getting around 2900fps with 48 grains of H335 out of Lapua brass. COAL around 2.8 inches...must be Tikka mag length.
16 inch barrel, don't seem to have any pressure issues.
Did this, took a screenshot when I completed it. Followed up with an email to local arms office, who informed me that they had not received my online change of address notification. Sent the...
Have you tried contacting Garmin? They are normally pretty good at repairing/replacing things in my experience, just slow to communicate.
Also very happy, have a 4000 and 2300. Great fit, well made and thought out, big step up on my Osprey and lets not even talk about the Tatonka....
Good fun, I shot the NZDA shoot at Tokoroa for a couple of years. Good fun with the specific scope for it too!
I have it, two of my mates have it and we have all used them for years. Great value for money.
Went and bought some elastic from a local knitting shop, tied one end on to the pouch loop and used one of these hooks on the other end:

Yeah I've got one. Haven't taken it out yet. I replaced a Badlands with it, definitely smaller and more streamlined. Sort of need external pockets to keep rangefinder etc unless your binos are...
+1, same experience
Applied for my renewal just before lockdown, and got interviewed last week. Seemed pretty reasonable all things considered. The arms officer was very accomodating!
I'd get in touch with the NZ importers. I've had magazines replaced for free before.

I carry an epipen and phenergan tablets as I'm anaphylactic! More crap to carry haha
Pretty sure mine is cut back to 20", from a 22" factory. No issues.
If you're after goats then go for gold. A LOT of people kayak during the warmer months. The bush is wet, quite tight and pretty average all round.
I won't be going back personally but other people...
+1, these are my least favourite boots by far! I'd look into the Lowa Renegade, they have a good wide fit that it sounds like you need.
Same one listed.
Just got my 48v power supply today. Ordered on the 22nd of April from AliExpress.
There is light at the end of the tunnel!
I agree, I am 6'4" too and had a shit night on Ruapehu in August in a Minaret. The cut off angle just doesn't make life easy in my opinion. Seemed pretty bomb proof in terrible weather though.
