the parts I went to was viable tight scrubby to open tracks, very steep on the west side where you had to be mindful not to fall off a cliff
yes but I had direct access from the farm I was running there at the time. always above 600m and in the evening on open pockets.
numbers are very low in there and apart from the two access points mentioned by gapped axe is land locked by farms te kopia rd access is a bit dodgy must be mindful of thermal holes, I wouldn't walk...
