i used the standard tikka 1-11 in 308 and my brno had a 1-10 and stabilisation is not an issue with hollow point cast bullets till the went over 180gr

with the 151s exiting everything i dont see...

30tc/ 308/ 30-06 /300wm too
theres nothing special about a 300blk to make it push a 30cal pill 1000fps

if you are able to handload any of your 30cal rifle will do exactly the same as a 300blk...

subx has 465 foot pounds at the muzzle

223 has 1252 foot pounds

7RM has 3109 foot pounds

308 has 2955 foot pounds

12ga with a solid has 2533 foot pounds

Subx just gives a little more margin for failure

My tikka 308 barrel and Brno 308 both probably wouldn’t stabilise the 200gr range as they are 1-10 twist so I couldn’t go heavier than the 165...

Im such a fan boy of it and think its the tops and moved up from 22lr subs to 165gr ballistic tips at 1000fps to this then on to 44s and 45s and the subx 190gr is still the best iv used

"head" isnt enough of a distinction Its either an earhole shot from the side or a cross from ear to opposing eye from the front

I think the subx 190 is great but 50m is too far

I set my limit at about 40m and am far more comfortable at 20m

Know your trajectory out to your max distance and know where you need to put...
