Cheers, mate. Worked on a sheep and cattle farm in Strathnairn (not far from Dalwhinnie) about 10 years back when I first arrived here. Still shoot the odd Sika over that way :)
I hear that it's a bit warmer down there, possibly a bit more rainy too. Would love to visit but that will have to wait a few years due to finances!
No Chinese Water Deer up here in Scotland, mate.
There's not really public land to hunt on in the UK, unless you consider the vast swathes of Forestry commission land. The public can bid on forestry commission contracts but it's not cheap and works...
