Thank you. Noted. I am giving up :)
To end this discussion. We can SUGGEST an RRP only, and that's it. Some want to make more, or less, and adjust their price and compete accordingly.

^no thank you.
Your comment did not offend. Having to explain simple business practices over and over again in order to defend against people who have no clue how business works is what is frustrating.
I have no...
Ok good work everyone. I will no longer answer any questions or inform you of new products, time frames or pricing. I had some cool things to tell you all next week. But whatever. I will keep an eye...
This thread is getting very frustrating. You have no idea. There are no such agreements in place.
An organisation is under no obligation to supply anyone and can strategically choose whom they...
You can compare prices and make your own decision as to if bulk savings are being passed onto the customer, or not :)
I agree, but I don't think there is a monopoly in this case. There are many brands of firearms to choose from and many shops - both chains and independents that supply them.
These are our brands,...
I think there is two sides to every story.
Its not about turn over, stock held on the shelf or endorsing any one brand.
Its about what representation is already in the area - and the fact you...
Fair call. I assume your call or email was answered promptly though - even if it was not what you wanted to hear?
Unfortunately we have no facilities to deal with the end user on a purchasing basis....
Frodo, There is a whole lot of assumptions going on there.
Do the likes of GC and H&F not sell other brands of guns? Yes they do. You want a Remington or a Savage? They will both sell you one of...
If a customer openly does not want to support Beretta products, why should Beretta be on call to support them at the drop of a hat?
As you have seen, an account with Beretta is a privilege not a...
It does not seem like good business sense to keep an account with such a shop open
^correct
Not at this stage, no.
The communication has just been sent, and I am now able to confirm an RRP of $1099nzd for the Tikka T1X :)
We will bring it in with barrel lengths of 16" and 20" for the .22, and 20" for the .17HMR...
Probably should not go into numbers sorry. More will come after the first shipment though - so supply should equalize at some point.
Because there is a huge backlog for production. The whole world wants them. Ours are not scheduled to even be manufactured till March.
Pricing has not yet been announced, however I do know it ;) I saw a number thrown out there in this thread, and it does fall within that range.
It should be public early this week - so just hang...
What would you have me ask my boss?
Sure no probs :)
I only meant it as a generalization that there are many sporting goods stores in NZ and some have probably never even heard of Beretta so its not feasible to expect them all to keep...
I am not aware of any current plans for this. If it were to happen it would be some time away - production on the new T1X is going to be stretched for some time, so I cant imagine a new model getting...
To be honest im not sure what the requirements are. I have nothing to do with sales or accounts.
If this line of questioning relates to any specific shop or retailer, PM me with details and I can...
Lol I love all things hunting, fishing & shooting. I was literally browsing the firearms section of the forum and saw "Tikka t1X - Beretta NZ sales policy" and thought to myself "what the hell is...
Thanks, ill stick around and keep you guys updated on all our gear and developments.
If anyone has any questions, ill do my best to answer or share what info I am at liberty to.
The T1X is too much of a big deal to be exclusive to any one retailer.
There may be exclusive package deals with scopes etc (not saying there IS), but the actual rifle, no way.
