PS. If you are not aware db scale is not linear.
Every 3 db increase is double the sound energy of the previous. so 103 db has twice the enery of 100 and 4x the energy of 97.

A few things to note:
1. A suppressor will still not eliminate hearing damage. Depending on the cartridge etc a suppressed rifle will still be around 130-140db. Hearing damage starts at even 85db...
