Lol, I have two at the moment.......it is a very economical, sensible, consistent, 338 that preforms very well, whats not to like.

The bolt face is the same, the feed rails might need to be opened up, any 700 LA magnum will do, a Rum would be the easiest :)
It looks like the Sin is made from Dakota brass, which has a slightly bigger bolt face........
You could rechamber to 30-375R which has the std magnum bolt face & is the same length as a 7mm Rem...
If he wants to build an Edge he just needs the std .532 magnum bolt face.....

Most guys that open the Std or magnum face up to Lapua use a Sako extractor, not a m16 type that has a pin through it & is much less likely to come visit you if there is a major issue/catastrophic...
I won't build a Lapua or Norma mag boltface on a 700 either unless it has a M16 type extractor like a 700P or PTG etc aftermarket bolt.
