IIRC its really just scaled up 30-06, sure it uses 230 odd grains of powder but they are going down a BIG hole, the jackets are most likely no harder than other jackets on the Amaxes.

Yeah coupled with a G1 BC around 1.0 they go pretty well :cool:
Depends on the load, I haven't wound it up with decent powder yet, 2650-2700 fps should be achievable :D

I got my new 50 going recently, she uses my old Barnard GP action from my 416 Barrett, she is essentially a switch barrel now, I can easily put the 416 barrel back on her :)
