my raichles were a bit like that I found, a bit too stiff for negotiating creeks and wet/slippery roots but they hooked up great in mud and gravel etc.. just nothing real hard

dad has had his asolos for 7 or 8 years and only just given up, my raichle (which are now zamberlan I believe) boots you show above lasted about 4 years, both with a good amount of use and general...
