Eldx are longer again than eldm dunno if that makes a difference or the calibre but in 270 the tip was definitely hitting the top of the stem when seating

they are the only projectile I load in 270 so I just got the one I had machined to suit was like $10 or $15 at gunworks dunno how much the replacement ones are ?

dunno if this helps or is even your issue but when I started loading ELDX I had to get the seating die machined out to suit the longer projectile otherwise the tips would hit the end of the die as...
