Absolutely no harm in asking, but yes I did multiple bump tests, saftey on safety off, open close the bolt saftey on and off, trigger pull whilst saftey on. It's as safe as it was prior to adjusting.

Quite possible my Sako has an after market spring, just not fitted by me (there's plenty of adjustment left in the trigger pull weight screw), never had any issues with function it breaks like glass...
If your successful I would be very interested
Well interesting results, now I don't have a fancy pants trigger pull gauge so using the milk bottle, string method both my rifles come in at "bang" on 2lbs :o gotta admit I was quite supprised as I...
With my sako a round is never chambered unless I am lined up on an animal, and then finger does not go inside the trigger guard until it's time to send it, however light it is it's very light and...
My Sako has a factory trigger but suspect it's been fiddled by a smith or has an aftermarket spring as it's very very light and passes all the saftey checks.
Will weigh the pull later today as I'm...
Must admit I'm curious as to what my triggers are set to now, might have to check :o but all my tiggers are light
I cut my teeth shooting hares with rimfire 22lr and 17hmr, it certainly made me a much better shooter and spotter, whilst my mate wants a 22lr he's unlikely to buy one any time soon, too many...
Yeah did al the usual saftey checks, bump the butt, cycle the bolt, pull trigger with saftey on etc it's safe as houses
He's pretty adamant it's not good for the firing pin  have tried to convince him otherwise but hey I'm not an engineer :yaeh am not durnk: he's happy enough using a fired case so will leave him...
Absolutely, he's keen as mud to get some more trigger time shooting like he would in the field, prone over pack or sitting rested on natural rest (tree stump rock etc) didn't see the point in...
Totally agree on both counts, his rifle and if he wants to never dry fire that's his call, I have told him it won't hurt it but hey its easy enough to slap a fired case in it.
He's never known...
Took a mate out to check zero on his rifle today, he owns a lovely rem 700 xcr 2 chambered in the timeless 270win.
Nothing to flady but a very nice slick action.
He reckons his scope took a knock...
