I think the velocity gap between Re16 and 2209 grows bigger with lighter bullets. I didn't see much difference with 160's but with 120's it was apparent.

Tried AR2209 and Re16 with 120 ballistic tips and 120 ttsx's recently. 20" barrel.
120nbt/ar2209/winchester brass/cci250/2.975" (brass simply sized, chamfered, deburred, and loaded)

.316. A bit tight. Can't recall what bushing I'm using. Gunsmith cocked up first time around and used a .316 reamer despite my giving them a dummy round that measured the same.
kiwijames, redding type S bushing die. Mine's got a .318 neck.
kiwijames, I had mine throated for 160-162's. There's still some jump. Load isn't compressed. Peterson brass. Started getting an extractor mark at 59gr and a slightly sticky bolt at 59.5gr.
58gr Re26, giving me 2850 out of a 20" barrel with a 160 TMK loaded at 3.100".
