Used the mountain star 2 and msr hubba hubba 2 back to back and found the msr was more spacious inside, quicker to erect with experience as mountain star was new. I did find when packing up that the...
I run a 06' Surf with the 4.0l v6 motor, 2" lift with 32" rubber. It's been very reliable with zero issues over the last 4 years. The on board computer recons 8km/l for the fuel around town and goes...
I to had a 1410 with the infamous 30hp 3 cylinder on it. Loaded all the gear upfront and 2 people on the back bench, it was always a super comphy ride. The fuel tanks lived under the front bench.
I'm trying to do the same with a box upfront . It's still work in progress. Keen to move the 23l fuel tank in there.

I tested 140vld 61gr 2217 @ 2982av with good grouping. I did not see the benefit of going 140gr in prc so kept going with 143eldx and 147eldm
Any update on the Godley river access? Last heard it had some impassable sections not far from Lilybank.
Any update?

Also take a look at the "Exped deep sleep" pillow. No inflation needed and ready to used out of its little bag. Very happy with it.

50mm is definitely brighter and better picture for my eyes, not sure if it's a bigger fov or not. The flash scope covers only protect the lenses so no use to me when a neoprene cover covers the hole...
Yea know what you mean, tried the Leupold ones and they don't cover the windage and parallax turrets properly. I not fussed weather its 44 or 50, the 50 gives me more chance to see the target for a...
I always use a neoprene cover on the scopes. I tried a Leupold one on this and unfortunately it doesn't fit.. Vortex has a new style neoprene cover that fits good and has loops, goes on tight and...
