Unfortunately I don't own a mig nor have access to one. I did think of a nut but was at a loss of how to fix it in place plus what a waste of a perfectly good nut.......
Now for the piece de...

Tape is temporary until I can get front sight sorted. If everything works as planned I'll make it a bit more permanent . I could possibly cover that tape with camo tape if it bugs you that...

Bit louder not by much though

Got a .410 cheap for the kids but butt was too long so cut it down and sawed a bit of barrel off which has made it a lot handier for the kids.....and me. Then had a hankering to shoot a solid through...
