I'll keep an eye out! Also planning on getting a O/U for getting back into clays, that might help scratch the itch. But I think I will still want a SxS

Have been wanting of a nice sxs for awhile now, but seems there is a massive hole in the market? I can get a Turkish made work tool for about $999, next in line I've seen is a $10k Beretta. Is there...
Mintie
Would be too short unfortunately. I'm not sure, but I do think think they would buy "I promise I never fold it short"
Have also fitted a Triggertech Special single stage, as the factory trigger had a break of 7.2 pounds!!
Got it's first kill Thursday night, shooting a 139gr Hornady whitetail at around 2300fps!! A good mate of mine is working up a load for it with a Hornady 120gr V-max and some 2208, hoping for...
Have acquired a mint Meopta ZD 6-24x56 RD in Mrad as part of a rifle I bought. Quick google seems to make it out as quite a decent scope. Anyone know what they were new in NZ? And what it might be...
Hard to beat a Terminator T3 from Kiwi Greg
Does the Alpha have the same 1:7" twist as the Trail?
The newly released CZ 600 is probably quite a contentious rifle, to some a hideous step away from the classic CZ bolt action, to others an awesome example of modern practicality and compactness....
Had one once, found the eye relief a pain to get lined up properly. The standard panamax was much nicer to use
Haha thanks! Yep as soon as I saw the rifle for sale aswell, I just knew I needed to do this! Extremely happy with it!
Out of curiosity, what muzzle loader is it? Definitely something a NZ agent couldn't bring in? Or can they, but it's a lot cheaper over there?
Cheers! I don't currently reload, but a good buddy does, I'll get him to spin a few up!
Saw a chassis (MDT LSS) pop up on trademe cheap, so bought it without a rifle to go into it. Luckily the seller also had a mint Remington 700 in 7mm08 for sale aswell, so picked that up at the same...
11" 7mm08 Rem 700, haven't actually weighed yet as I'm waiting for a lighter rear stock, should be 3kg or just under

Cheers for the review dannyb, have just ordered one for myself, looking forward to trying it out this weekend!
Was it the new model? Or older one? Love the look of this new model, but hate to think what they will cost for a "budget" rifle
It was correct, but he argued their decision and got permission to bring them in. He had the same issue with the straight pull AR he had made, he's currently arguing that decision aswell
I've finally managed to track down a Ruger M77 Mkii international (full wood mannlicher stock) in .308. Just wondering if anyone else has one, in what calibre and your thoughts on them? Personally...
jpurdon I definitely think your best option would be to get a rail fitted, as it'll allow you to move the rings around to a point where you can get sufficient eye relief, and, should add enough...
All setup now, ammo purchased, just need range time then it's off hunting!

The sonic 35 are quite good, modular like the DPT, and also on the slimmer side of things. I've used the Sonic 35, 40 and 45, highly rate them, even above DPT
Yeah a lot of rifles that are factory cerakoted suffer from a sub par job. Getting it done from BigEarl69 who did a previous rifle I owned, the finish was excellent
