Thanks for the heads up nor-west but i find the model 7 to small for me . I guess my question should be to anyone out there with a model 700 in 284 is what COAL's are you able to get in your rifle...

Its a remington 700 short action . Most place i hunt the range can be from 10 to out past 500 yards quite often.

As per the title id like something with a bit gas , Though about 284 but with the longer 7mm bullets it hasn't the mag length . Would 7mm WSM or Saum be a better option ? Or should i just sell it...
