Yip seen that but its more than I have ATM.... Had a deal sorted with a bit of a trade off so new would be way cheaper for me......but no stock....so got the kids a 223 instead and will build my SAUM

I have a 700 action and 6.5 SAUM reamer and 338 reamer for doing the neck and throat....just need a stock and barrel, I have allways wanted a 45-70 though but I may shout the kids a .223 Marlin rifle...

Not enough grunt for what I want.. Still might build the 338 SAUM as I think I have some open sights sorted. Have another option to look at that a mates got....and that may be long term loan for free...

Yup been googling those as well... 338 has a lack of available pills to load by the looks so far... yet to soo the 200gr FTX in stock but havent been a the phone yet

45-70 is my first choice but...
