Arvo all, I recently got one of the Tatonka scabbards. The fitting with the top loop and buckle seems obvious.
Anyone able to tell me the purpose of the second buckle?

Yeah, be neat - or encase in a resin block.
Other than paying the earth and going carbon fiber - has anyone found a stock that is lighter than the grotty Hogues?
Keen to drop some weight.... and yep - aware of the alpine stock, just a bit...
Interesting will have to try this out. We remove from shell and remove the bad bits, then sit in a bowl of boiled water for no more than 2 minutes - that renders them super soft. Then slice and do...
Also had issues with this on couple of pairs of boots.
Found key to this is doing the edge of the rand with some windscreen sealant - does nothing for the appearance and needs to be reapplied every...
Interesting - the sign I saw looked like a larger with smaller follower also :)
Some further info. I've been into the hut within the last 4 weeks.
Left vehicle in carpark with no problems.
Definitely easy walk in, and you want a bed early, but lunchtime people were having to...
One thing is for sure - his outlook on life and mentality could teach generations to come. I still have a giggle over his shotgun 'thing' project.
Disposable powerheads for freediving would be neat - especially if the calibre could be chosen...

The 140's...
Huntsika is on the money - I removed one in recent times, single screw. Bit ugly to tidy up afterwards, you'll want a little cold blue paste.

When you say 'good' clearance - I've read that .4-.5mm or there about is enough.
I've been shooting suppressors a while, and had one without a rear bushing and could not get it to shoot, constant...
Does anyone know what thread the bushing is on a Nielsen sonic suppressor?
I'm either trying to hunt a new bushing down or going to get a new one made - too much gap in mine.
Any help appreciated....
Can you further expand on this? What gland, where?
Same with my older Rav & the wife's Mitsi Outlander. Plug under seat - done.
I'm quite interested in the replies thus far.
I've watched video footage of myself shooting, and note a jump of about 2-3cm of the bipod feet, the rifle goes directly up and backwards slightly,...
I used a Mossy ATR in .308 for years - counted for a lot of deer and hundreds of goats.
Was quite fussy over ammo, but did everything I asked of it.
Now own a couple of Howa's and the...

Lapping compound or something like Chemico - brass door hinge pin in a drill. I've used that at a pinch to tidy up a rough crown on a .22
What I did note is that you cannot just put the pin head...
I'm also watching this one..... have a older jacket and a pack I'd love to give a little more waterproofing too.
Anyone tried the CRC Aqua Armour ?
Good time to do this now when you can leave...
