Thanks, yeah the noisy blue bastards, they sure are tempting some times. The 17H is absolutely perfect for shooting that property.

Weaver SuperSlam 3-15x42. Soon to be replaced with a 4-20x50 of the same make/model.
In 500 odd rounds so far I've never had one, as soon as it hits ANYTHING it explodes. Hugely safer than 22lr
Yes hell of a lot of fun! I enjoy the filming too, as it adds another dimension to the challenge ;-)
Yeah its a tiny very frangible bullet going very fast, which pretty much blows up on a blade...
It sure does, the 17 Hornet with just the 20gr bullets, has more energy at 200 yards than the 17gr 17HMR does at the muzzle!
It seriously is awesome fun!
I was using my 17 Hornet (bigger case than 17hmr, and centrefire) 20gr vmax handloads doing 3,700 fps.
Camera is a Canon PowerShot SX50
The Apple harvest is over so i had my first session shooting rabbits in there for the year, the 17 Hornet is just epic fun on this property.
Many of the shots could be made with the 17Hmr or even...
