Bloody hope so,, just drops his head and backs off a metre or two when I lift rifle and shoot, after that he is fine, sees the bird going down and gets it. Some times gets a bit sheepish

Also been training up my lab he's good at retrieving game but is still a little gun shy, human error I think!

Mainly ducks, found a found few great places round dunners, been out on pool burns bons spiel station a bit as well. Keen to get in to upland game but havnt had a chance yet.
