Not sure about scopes. I know for a fact that iron sights do not require an import permit.
I applied for one after "the guy" at the firearms authority said I would require on.

Nice work. What is the magazine capacity?
We had the same Kathmandu set up as you with the compass. Good big rig but it Was a pain in the balls to set up. We got an inflatable nylon tent on special from torpedo 7. Had it for 3 years no and...
Take it to reloaders in onehunga, good guys.
100% on both counts. I do prefer the ar setup. Safety, bolt release, mag release position make it quick to operate. I guess its depends what you're used to.
I had a m&p 15-22. I'm actually considering getting one for my boys. Good wee rifle if you dont mind polymer. Very light, accurate enough for general duties.
Sorry mate cant remember the model number. It's a cheap runner and I guess the trigger probably represents that but it's no worse than a milspec ar trigger. Its 100% usable.
I had a 512 tactical, didnt like that you need to take the scope off to clean it. Went to a rossi semi in 22mag , it's been great.
I had a 597 that's was a great rifle. It was picky on ammo, but very accurate for a semi. Using sk subsonic ammo it ran flawlessly. There is a lot of info on how to make them cycle well out there, I...
There are some guys that are crazy fast with a bolt but the majority of us are not. Semi was pretty helpful for us average guys.... ok maybe slightly below average. I'd have a look if these came...
Remington 33gr.
Then 30 gr vmax
The gentleman us brilliant, the scene where Coach explains that "black c__t is a term of endearment is classic.
+1 Jaco Goosen .helped me out, excellent work.
Has anyone tried the RWS stuff that reloaders sells.
Got me too.
Dave is great to deal with. I highly recommend him and his product.
These have been mentioned a couple of times on here over the Last little while. Is there anyone out there using one? I've done some research and would be grateful to get some real world answers from...
Welcome mate.
Cheers for that, I've had a quick yarn with the guy from custom scope turrets, he said 700-750 is what they suggest for north island settings. Your right though, I had a play with a ballistic app...
None taken. I was referring to myself when I said I wanted an idiot proof solution. I've ordered the locally made turret with moa on the bottom layer.169605
The price. The sako is great, and I'll never sell it . The a7 has 3 lugs on the bolt, a good magazine release system and the roughtech stock is pretty good. But the extra $1000ish would have been...
Buy a tikka mate.
I went sako a7, it's a brilliant rifle and is better than me but I've had a tikka and if I ever spend my hard earned again I will go tikka.
Yeah, your'e 100% right. I'm asking for a solution to a first world problem. I have only allowed myself one center fire rifle, I want it to be as useful and as easy to use as possible if I do have...
I'm thinking about investing in a custom scope turret. I have all my information sorted except for the elevation above sea level. What would be a good default for bush hunting in the north island...
Yeah mate I will give an update. Hopefully good news, fingers crossed. Good luck with block 8
