As for your barrel length it makes no difference to yiur twist rate but there is a minimum legal overal length that i cant remember. And for a 22 i think somewhere around 14 to 16 inches was optimum...
I dunno bout the stock finish but i ran the rough numbers through shooter and with 100 meter zero you will have some where around 50inches or more drop at 200:eek:
