    I did much the same with 308 military stuff -...

    I did much the same with 308 military stuff - only I had a bar of steel with a 3/16”(?) hole drilled in it.

    Put the point of the bullet in the hole and hold the point against the bench grinder...

    As mentioned above, the stuff that smallbore...

    As mentioned above, the stuff that smallbore shooters use would be quiet - unfortunately they are solids.

    ( has anybody ever had a ‘solids made into hollow points’ device?
