    Thanks folks. Might stick with the 17gn V max then but have a wee play with the 20gn and see if it will shoot in my rifle.

    17HMR 20 gn Hornady XTP projectiles on bigger small game

    Hi folks,

    I have been using the 17gn V-max projectiles and these are pretty good. I have however been noticing they are lacking a bit on bigger possums and feral cats. Or shooting running hares...
