I just ordered an evo rail aswell and the thermal bushings don't seem to go on as easily as shown. Is the NEA barrel nut not a standard barrel nut?

mayfly by the looks of it your sphur mount just locks up on the factory tikka dovetail mounts correct? If so how do you find it?
