It's quite a bit sideways. Surprised you've done it from like that. Look like its looking up.

Make a frame of light pieces of one or two inch flat pine that follows roughly the outline of the skin, (and attached to two main lenghts of wood in the middle which is a cross.) Then staple the skin...
Short answer - yes. Absolutely fine. I do it all the time, and for years. Never had a misfire.
Long answer, unscrew the decapping pin out of the sizing die. But I don't bother.
But frankly, as...
Put it on the farthest forward position on that rail. That will bring the POI down.
Hi, it is a Lithgow rifle, with 1943 stamped on the wrist (and 1944 on the buttstock)
This is still for sale now. Will send to your gunshop.
You are making this much too hard. Just resize the brass and then reuse the primers too. I do it all the time.
IT was also the cheapest ammo in the USA but the last times I see it in NZ gunshops it cost $70 a box. nz retailers are so greedy.
it IS NOT HARD TO GET 3000FPS FROM A 130 GRIAN BULLET WITH A 20 INCH BARREL AND NORMAL RELOADING BOOK LOADS. using h4831SC. bIG CASES WILL ALEWAYS BEAT LITTLE ONES NO MATTER WHAT BARREL LENGTH.
A pure lead round ball will go through any large animal too.
Pewter is made of tin, it wont make your balls much harder, just cast better.
Black powder and pure lead are made for each other. I...
IF you have pure lead what do you want linotype for? What are you shooting it in?
Try the NZDA for My Stalking Memories by Major Wilson, they reprinted it a few years ago and the last of them had been picked up by a doctor who was selling them on just casually. IF you can get his...
Is there such a thing? I thought .30/06 was all the same.
I have had three or four Rossi's and still use a .44-40 carbine. This rifle will group into 1.5 inches at 100m with handloads and custom open sights I have fabricated myself. There is nothing wrong...
Make sure you have removed the bit of leather that covers the bolt head. Soak it in penetrating oil overnight down the cleaning gear hole. And not just a few drops. Dunk a lot in there.
Then take...
Can no one see the photos?
303 Lee Enfield SMLE cut down into a sporter for sale for $360.00
Has an excellent bore, bright and shiny with sharp rifling.
Good working condition, feeds and extracts well.
Bolt is...
What are you calling pressure signs in your .222? IF you are getting pressure signs with starting loads of 2207 of you have a real problem shooting anything I woud have thought, including factory...
I have shot half of my deer with open sights and the other with a scope, mostly a 4x scope. I would put a scope on that BLR rifle for bush shooting. When you in the bush a scope will flatten...
I have used 2207 and 2208 in several rifles. 19.5 grains of 2207 under 55 or 60 grain Horndy's have been good in three .222's so far. A max compressed load of Varget as well.
What are you calling...
HEllo Everyone. My name is Arthur. I have come back to hunting after a little while away. I have been recommended to this forum and look forward to doing some more hunting, I am based in Otago and...
Winchester 94's in .44-40 often feed poorly - the action is too long for the cartridge. Same for those chambered in .44 mag. This ctridges were originally n the smaller model 92, which they had...
I once roared up three bush stags at the same time. Two of them continuing roaring at each other, while a third younger was running round in circles trying to look at eveyrbody. I was in the middle,...
The load was 46 grains of IMR4895 and got 2490 - 2500 fps on the chronograph from a 24 inch barrel. I would use Varget / 2208 now; aim for the same velocity of 2500fps.
The 170 grain Hornady bullet has shot very well in three different .30/06's I have had, and I pushed it up to 2500 fps and it still performs exactly as it is intended. I checked with Hornady...
