    300 Win mag projectiles

What’s everyone running in their 300 win mags?

Putting a build together, I want a heavy hitter.

Have got some 208 ELDMs to try, what else do you suggest?

    Cheers

If your talking long range - 208 ELDM's would be perfect! If you cant find an accurate load with those try the 195gr Sierra TMK's. Not as high BC but normally shoots great in any rifle.

If factory barrel and 11 Twist the 208 and up might only do moa groups

The 178 ELDX will group tighter

I like the 178 eld-x. I found it a good balance of long range hitting power and flat shooting out of my rifle.

I use the 178 ELD-X with good results. Can shoot it more accurately with less boot than a heavier projectile. As I get slowly more comfortable and shooting accurately I may think to go up in projectile weight. However, I rather not develop a flinch and this is why I have taken this route.

I use 208 ELD-M in mine, but it’s custom throated, heavy(ish) barrel, 26” and braked.
For yours I agree 178 will be the go.
Now you just have to find some.
