I use win 760 in my 18 inch kimber with 162 eldms.
Mild load at 2500 fps but single ragged hole. Kills well.
Interesting when you run the numbers compared to a faster 168 eldm in 308 which also kills well, but the 162 quickly over takes on velocity at distance.
    Good at 1800 fps easy

    Just checked.
The only eld in 150 is the x.
I have been loading g them in my son's 7mmo8 rifle and they kill like the hammer of god.
Been using them since they came out.

I run the 162 eld-m with 41.2gr of 2208 behind it in a 16.5inch 7mm 08 and have had great results. 2452fps so not fast as you’d expect with the short barrel, but very accurate and been deadly on mostly reds from 10yards to 450yards so far. Had very low es and sd but a change in primer has made it not quite as consistent so will have a bit more of a play around when get the time.

Out of curiosity. Did you have to swop out the bolt stop to, with the m+ mag?

This M+ mag sounds interesting. Where did you find one? or is it the small magnum one. Never heard of it. What's your COL at mag Length with the M+? I'm using 3006 mag with the bolt stop removed. Feed great but action would be nice.

@7mmsaum haha yes. Hard to believe that was 19 years ago we were running around the hills with that weapon. Way before LR shooting became all trendy and everyone had a dial up scope.

How good is my memory ? was it a 30" muzzle braked barrel , 95.5 gns of 2208 for 3300 fps but more importantly the same energy at 1000yds as the good ole .243 had at the muzzle ? Just remember it weighed a tonne compared with my rifles these days and its a bonus not having to carry ear muffs
