    90gr Gamechanger

Listing on TM for this projectile explaining reason for sale is that they did not group in a T3. Is it because of the shape of the projectile?

I would hazard a guess it’s user error mate assuming it’s a .243 T3 I can’t think of any reason why they wouldn’t shoot I think they are abit more finicky than their Hornady counterpart though how many projectiles are for sale? That’ll tell you how hard he tried

It’s a horrible bullet. Has been problematic for lots of guys from the get go.

Requires a 1:9” twist or faster. Has a short bearing surface and very long ogive And if it isn’t spinning fast enough it gets a wobble on. When it was released Sierra said it would shoot in standard 1:10” rifles, but pretty quickly the reports came in that it didn’t. There was a thread about this bullet on the Sierra blog with one of the technicians. They updated the twist recommendation pretty quickly.

It should specify the twist right on the box unless it’s one of the original batches.

Any ideas on how it performs? Iv got 165s in 7mm for a 8.7 twist and don’t want to waste the other consumables if it’s performance is questionable cheers

Tried the 165 tgks in a 7 saum. Absolute shit grouping. Tried then in a 7 08 with 39 grains 2208. Tack driver. Weird.

Those 90 gr Gamechangers shoot like shit in my Rem 700, about 2 to 3 inch at 100 yds ,95 gr SST will do 1/2 to 3/4 inch at the same distance.

It's not the bullet weight that's the problem, it's this specific bullet. My t3 with a 10 twist barrel shoots 95 grain ballistic tips into the same hole, not ragged, the same hole at 100 yards. It won't shoot these even if I wanted them to more than I wanted...well something that I really, really want.

    How do they go mate?
Are they as good as they reckon?
Meant to be quite tough and not as explodey as other BTs

The 95 grain best? Super accurate but I haven't shot anything with them yet. I had heard that as well, hod together at high speeds but still expand. Mine is a 19 inch barrel so only doing 3100fps, hopefully get into something soon
