    Berger 6.5mm 130grn

    Brought some off tm as VLD hunting but they are slimmer than my ones I had would that mean they are VLD target cheers

    Ummm, slimmer might mean they aint .264 - they might be 115gn .257

    definitely 6.5mm just not the same shape as my hunting probly shouldn't have brought cheers

    @buzzman I think you mean they are have a secant ogive rather than tangent, or more pointy.
    In which case I would say yes they might be the VLD Target ones

    I know the olive is diff on the classic hunter v vld hunter, but thought it the same vld target v vld hunter and it was only the jacket thickness that was diff?!

    Perhaps they are hybrid bullets. The target and hunting VLD should be the same shape. I have about 400 130 hunting VLD's if you want some.

    Do use recon they will kill ok if I use them on game cheers

    you could anneal the tips and that will help them open if in doubt. test it on a bottle or wet news paper. not very scientific but close. also if you aim to hit bone ofr the first few you should get an idea if they are opening. I just got the gf a 260 so looking for some pills. might give @ L.R a Pm
