    Hornady Data - 260rem 123gn ELD M BM2 loads

Has anyone got a Hornady Manual that they could check some data for me?- I'm curious to see if it lists a load for the 123gn ELD M with Benchmark 2.

I've been trying to find a a good recipe with 2208, but I'm not completely satisfied with the results and want to try another powder.

    Thanks

I use to run 123gr Amax at 3k in my 20 inch barreled model 7 using H414. I can look up the charge weight later if you are interested.

thanks @GWH, I've heard H414 or 2209 is pretty reliable but I've got quite a bit of BM2 in my cupboard that I used to use in my .223 (which I don't reload for much anymore) that I'm keen to find a use for.

Not a 260 but I use a lot of BM2 in my 6.5TCU, no load data for it but I use 26gns with a 123gn ELD-M for 2550fps in a 24 inch barrel. Have gone as high as 27.5 for 2650fps but cases only last one firing and heavy ejector marking.
I also use BM2 in my 375WSM its a good powder for me

I would suggest starting at 37gns and going up at .5gn till you see pressure signs (ADI manual shows starting load of 37gns BM2 for 120gn projectile)

All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.
