I should add the 40kgs included all meat vacuum packed for individual meals. I can do this myself but saved a few hours of sorting it all out.

$9 a kilo.......not outragous pricing for sausages....bit much for mince meatballs and patties..but if happy with end result it still beats supermarket mushy crap.

I pay $25 per kg for my venison biersticks and do so with a smile. Best venison small good I have ever had. Quality is worth it when I'm only get snags and mince done 99% of the time. Deliver them bags of trim after I have processed the animal

With respect I think your out of touch, sure there is still the odd bloke out there doing it for $6-7 maybe but if comparing quality sausages and mince for $9.22kg to shop stuff at $20+ its not to bad.Running a business these days is blimmen niggly as far as costs - charge out rates - happy customers goes.Quality product is always first then price.

Just going by what I pay which is in that $6-7 bracket. But to be fair I go for plainer sausages and support rural butchers.
Glen at back ridge butcher is $7.

Yeah I just looked at my last wild game invoice $7 per kg for sausages and patties
I'm guessing that's a public rate? We put over 2000kg/cw through there last year.

Counties Custom Killing sausages are $7/kg with a min 8kg of trim per flavour, seams to be a std price nowadays. they also do sensational salamis

Still $5 a kg for the best session sausages ever.
I used to tie sausages for him when I was still at school.45 odd years ago.
He still powers out a heap of goodies
Can't say who it is as will be unindated and can't get mine done.

Sure, here are options for game processors near Taupo:

    1. Farm & Game Meat Processors at 15 Mānuka Street, Tauhara, Taupō 3330, New Zealand. It has a 5-star rating on Google Maps
    2. Farmers Quality Meats 2019 at 203 Rifle Range Rd.
    3. Lakeside Meats is at 63 Rifle Range Rd.

Based on user reviews, Farm & Game Meat Processors seems like a good option. It might be worth calling them to confirm their opening hours over Christmas and New Year.
